A summer internship working with the librarian and historian at NCTC with Stipend Internship Announcement (2019) 
Two consecutive four week modules, total compensation $3000, on the National Conservation Training Center’s (NCTC) campus in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Position is full-time (40 hours per week). Intern will be working with creative and dynamic supervisors. First module is with Sarah Gannon-Nagle, who oversees the National Fish and Wildlife library, an asset of the service. Second is with Mark Madison, NCTC Historian and curator of the Museum and Archives. Involvement communicating the service’s role through Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and student-created podcasts. Possibilities include digitalizing films and working on museum displays. Applicants should be rising juniors or above that are motivated with related skills in communications or environmental science. Here is the video highlights of the NCTC Bald Eagles 2019 nesting season. There is a heartfelt thank you to NCTC, Outdoor Channel and Friends at the end of the video, as well as, a very special thank you to all the citizen scientists that help us to document the events at the nest. This past year we were able to collect and document bald eagle behavior on a spreadsheet that is accessible to students and the public; thanks again to our small team at Bald Eagles 101 on Facebook your assistance made this possible!
