On May 15, 2000, the National Conservation Training Center erected The Fallen Comrades Memorial. This memorial is composed of plaques with the names of the Fish and Wildlife Employees that have died in the line of duty and a statue commemorating their efforts. Our “brick fund” strengthens this memorial by paving the surrounding courtyard with inscribed bricks from those who donate to this fund in remembrance, honor, and support of these fallen heroes.
For an individual, a donation of $55 is required for a brick. An inscription, with 39 characters, can be engraved onto your brick. For examples of current inscriptions, go to https://trainingcenter.fws.gov/history/FallenComradesBrick.html.
Please allow several weeks for ordering and installation because of a minimum requirement with the brick manufacturer.
Thank you for supporting our fallen comrades!
