This winter, America’s Wild Read is featuring A Woman Among Wolves by Diane K. Boyd, a remarkable memoir that takes us into the rugged wilderness, where Boyd’s extraordinary journey as a wildlife biologist unfolds.
We’re thrilled to announce that the author Diane Boyd will be joining us for our book discussion on Thursday, February 27 at 3 PM ET. She’ll give a talk about her experiences and insights from her book, followed by a Q&A session where YOU can ask her your burning questions!
Diane Boyd’s career began in the 1970s, when she became the only female biologist in the U.S. researching and radio collaring wolves in the wilds of Montana near Glacier National Park. In this story, Boyd shares her passion for wolf recovery and the many amazing wolves she developed strong relationships with through years of tracking and studying them. A Woman Among Wolves is also a thrilling story of a courageous woman following her dreams no matter the cost. Boyd’s memoir offers a captivating glimpse into her groundbreaking work and the evolving challenges of wolf conservation.
