Come meet old friends and make new ones! Take a tour! Watch a winning student film! Try some wines (non alcoholic beverages will also be aplenty). Enjoy a variety of nibbles and noshes! Cross your fingers that your door prize ticket will be drawn!
The private tour of the archives will start off the event at 2pm. Please meet for the tour in the lobby of the main entrance of National Conservation Training Center (698 Conservation Way, Shepherdstown. The social will start immediately following and will be held in Room 201 I East. The sneak peek screening of the winning student film in the National Conservation Film Festival will begin at 4:00 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy one of our national treasures and explore some of its inner workings as well as mingle,munch and sip with members and friends.
A drawing will be held for a matted print of a Shenandoah River bald eagle taken by local photographer, Peter Rublee. The bald eagle shown here is the print that will be matted and given to the lucky winner! This event is free, handicapped accessible, and family friendly.
