Webinar Title: Monarch Parasitoids

Have you ever seen the movie Alien? Then you know what a parasitoid is, but did you know that monarchs have natural parasitoids? PhD Candidate Carl Stenoien from the UMN Monarch Lab will discuss recent research on parasitoid wasps that prey on monarchs. Dane Elmquist, former assistant program coordinator for the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project, will discuss recent discoveries made by monarch citizen science about tachinid flies, a common monarch parasitoid.
